Facility
We operate one of the newest and largest pre-size facilities in the country. Equipment is continually updated as new technology becomes available to increase efficiency and improve fruit handling. There are many benefits to running a pre-size operation. Most significantly, it allows us to maintain a "just-in-time" inventory. The normal industry turn time for packed fruit is 25 to 30 days; our turn time is 3-5 days. Several lines give us the flexibility to pack multiple varieties and packages simultaneously. No other Northwest company can respond to last minute packaging requests as fast as we can.
Our cherry line was constructed to handle burgeoning production growth. Each subsequent year has seen new expansion to this line. The sweet cherry line has been improved to keep up with growing customer demand for consumer packages. The Rainier variety is run over a very labor intensive line designed specifically to handle this very delicate piece of fruit. In relatively short order we have earned a reputation among our customers for unparalleled service and quality of this highly perishable fruit.
Our 126-acre storage, packing and shipping facility is conveniently located within a mile of Highway 82 in Selah, Washington.
